You make a compelling argument...but I can't decide.
Drug tacos?
Tacos are so much better when you make your own tortillas. Get a press and a bag of mesa. The effort is defintely worthwile.
Ah, you cruel bastard. It's 7:30 in the morning and I'm eating a muffin. Now I want tacos.
I had gyros this Taco Tuesday.
#Doesn'tMatterHadTacos
Referencing tacos with a negative connotation. Reported. If I had known there was a taco thread, I'd have posted it here, but here are some lyrics I wrote about tacos while my daughter was learning the song "You Are a Tourist" by Death Cab for Cutie:

Muffin taco? :fro:Just throw a tortilla on that muffin and you've got a muffin taco!

If you put hot sauce on it you can call it a taco.
Pita bread= tortilla. Ergo, taco.
Does sandwich bread = poofy tortilla cut in half?
Ergo taco?
This is an oft debated topic. In my opinion, sandwiches (while a form of taco) are worthy of their own designation.
What say you, Taco People? Sandwich =?
Really, it is a double standard. Sandwich ≠ Taco, but Taco = Sandwich. Now, I'm firmly on the side of sandwiches are not at all tacos. The reason being is that a taco shell or tortilla is a self contained filling receptacle. You don't make a loaf of taco shells, that would be ridiculous. This is not to take away from sandwiches, as sandwiches are the shizz. You may ask, "what about rolls such as Dutch Crunch, Soft, Sweet, Italian, Sourdough, Ciabatta and the like!?" Well, while you may think these would fit the descriptor of "self contained filling receptacle," you'd be wrong. You still need to slice these before they may accept fillings. As compelling as all this may be, there is still more evidence to damn the catagorization of sandwiches as tacos. Principal being:
taco shells/tortillas do not need yeast.
Sandwich bread must contain yeast for it to rise and become the fluffy wonderful bread that we all know and love.
I hope this clears things up.
Oh yeah, well if a sandwich is not a taco because bread is not a--and I quote--"self contained filling receptacle," then what is this? Huh? Huh?:

That, sir, is an abomination.
