I used gelatin for the first time on my last batch of beer thanks to your info. Worked like a CHARM! Thanks for the hard work and great site.

I was just wondering this. I will say though I think there may be a sweet spot so to speak. I have been using 1/2 teaspoon normally but my last 2 batches I used a half packet and it cleared much quicker than normal.... Have you played around much with filtering?

Good read. When I first started using gelatin a few years ago, I was using the who sachet for 5 gal. Results worked I guess for what I wanted. Then after reading some of these xbts, and how much less people were using, I decided to do the same. Now, for 10 gal, I just use one sachet. So 1/2 sachet per 5 gal. I have noticed beers clearing up really well really fast.

Whole Sachet per 5 gal:

The first was probably a week after in the keg.
The latter was the day after kegging/carbing
