A Fremont RS would surprise me a bit...though I would join ASAP.

Also on Rusty Nail...I traded one for a BTAC Thomas H Handy.

I feel like i missed something. You traded what for what?! I just traded mine off for some Side Project bottles. And how likely would someone be willing to trade another btac for rusty. yeesh

I'm surprised anyone traded Rusty away. I'm a sucker for cinnamon stouts, especially barrel aged versions, and Rusty Nail was absolutely ridiculous. I'd rather drink it than Handy, but I can also have a glass of that about anytime I want too.

So quality of beer-wise I'm not surprised someone would trade a bottle of BTAC for a Rusty. First rare beer in WA!

Someone really wanted some Rusty Nail and put up a THH for it in one of the forums. I had to oblige the person as I love THH. Rusty was extremely limited and also extremely delicious. I hooked him up with some sweet extras too. I am not sure it would be easy to replicate my trade but you never know.

For any of you curious about what that take home bottle was for the Heron Hunting Club. It's a 1978 Heaven Hills barrel aged B-Bomb called "The Ancient One." 1 per member.

Clarification: 2014 B-Bomb aged in 1978 Heaven Hills barrels, not a time traveling 37 year old bottle of B-Bomb.

I thought it was a 50% blend of that and 1-year old 2014 B-bomb?

Agree completely. Why brew a cinnamon forward beer (which is delicious) only to sit on it and let the cinnamon fade? :(

They felt that it was way too hot out of the gate. Long story short, I think they ****** up the fermentation, and they wanted to see if bottle conditioning would fix things.

Cheers to Fremont brewing today on their BA Brew 1000 marking their 1,000th brew. Fitting that it is delicious. Their barrel program is really hitting its stride. Can't wait for KDS and BBomb.
Is this getting distro/will it be available at any online stores like the other BA fremont ?

Sold 50 cases at the brewery today and 150 supposed to hit distro. Don't know if that leaves enough to find its way online.

The guy that poured my beer said that there were 36 cases to be sold at the brewery and 36 cases to be sold in distribution. Not sure my source knows his **** but that's what an employee at Fremont said...

200 cases seems high considering what OBR was. But what the hell do I know. Srs. No idea.

Not sure where I read my numbers, but you could be right.

By the way readers, the beer's good. Very bourbon forward, which is nice considering how tame OBR was on the barrel side. Reminds me a lot of a sweeter Central Waters BBBW.

When I was there Wednesday I heard an employee say they sold 1 pallet. I don't really know what that is in terms of cases.
