Yup, mopar in very low 40's. Had a few Dodges, mostly diesel pickups though. Still got a '97 2500 w 6DT & NV4500, keeping up w maintenance, going to put new cab mounts in it the winter, good off island w turbo & overdrive...not going to let the rust get this one.

On a more festive note; happy Friday everyone !

I'll admit I have had several beers,... anyway, ... on one level, we are all in this together,... might be good to remember.

End of an era. BigJohn and I sold the Caddy tonight. Sad day.

My condolences, it is a classy car, hopefully you got a good price and it goes to a good home.

Not on the same level, but I remember the wistful feeling I got when I sold a '66-K20 I restored, not to mention the Studebaker.

Got to move on and stay practical,... at least the caddy gave you a ride that justified the fuel consumtion.

Sup, Bitches?
Not a lot of time to hang online these days. Once we started doing rapid COVID testing my world turned into a sh!tshow of intergalactic proportions.

Hope you lads and lassies are doing well and using the two ply. Cover up yer openings folks.

Had MRI for shoulder rotator cuff yesterday. I really think if they tried hard, they could make that fvcking tube you're in smaller. Face no more than 10 mm away from tube, shoulder clamped in painful position, about 20-30min, I was ready to kill something. Luckily, I couldn't move my arm for $hit afterwards so the techs were safe. Went straight home for Makers Mark, sugar cubes, bitters and orange slices. And beers. Getting old sux. I recommend avoiding. I also recommend that if you do slip up and get old, and ride a bike on a crowded rail trail, just fvcking fall down instead of trying to grab a nearby fence as you go, thinking stupidly that you can do that gymnast "Iron Cross on the rings" maneuver.

Because, dipwad, you cannot.

MRI said I fractured my greater tuberocity, with a full thickness tear of the infraspinatus, and a tear of the superspinatus.

I wasn't aware my greater tuberocity could break <insert some terrible 30 yrs of marriage joke here>.

As soon as I get the MRI I'll be happy to prove it.

Unless you're looking for pics of the Maker's Mark and sugar cubes.

In our valiant war against the demon MS, BigJohn lost the battle today against the MRI tube. My heart went out to the big guy when he came home dejected after MRI attempt #2. MS is stealing my husband and it sucks hard.

Happy thots darlin.

Maybe they a have a anticipation of on problem on Halloween? Kids will be kids, and big kids will use the mayhem as cover for crimes,,,,..where I was stuck in my adolescent years one really had to watch out the night before; devils night.

Anyone else feel the tremor this morning? I was in shop cellar weighing grain and some of the stuff on shelve rattled a little, I thought maybe a heavy truck had driven into my yard or something.

Now I read we had a 4.0 quake.

Pretty sure I was still enjoying last night's stout dosage in a deep sleep.
Killer weather the last few days though. It was spectacularly nice up in NH and all the trail heads were filled on Saturday.
Today I had to drive over to Bedford on 62 and it was wall-to-wall with bicyclers and walkers the whole way...

Cheers!

Brewed my take on a Vienna lager today, nice and dreary out, but no rain, and above freezing. Anyone else making beer?

If it does not rain too much next Thursday, I may brew on "The Holiday" also. For better or worse, I'm not included in the "pod" my somewhat assertive niece declared at my mother's and sister's houses, my gal is going to her mom's out of state with the kid home just from college (good idea, maybe not, but not my call).

So entering my sixth decade, I may finally get to spend this one in my own house, albeit alone. Kind of looking forward to it.

Heard of land sharks before, but land whales?

I guess I could fetch down the garand if I'm feeling alone and threatened, not that I have any desire to harm any whales, or anything else at this point.

Most land whales can be found in casinos aka high rollers. It’s good day to have nice hot soup for dinner. I won’t be brewing this week, but I might get a wine kit into a fermentor.

so they are prey? ...interesting,, esp if the "indigenous ones" get to build their "bingo hall", ... most of their prey have to pass near my fortifications,.... perhaps a levee can be extracted.

of course the chickens can only eat so many, and swine are kind of a pain to keep and smell, (but will not rule out).

I know, your probably thinking, wait, could you not sell them into slavery? but alas, most of this type are, at best, a liability alive in their bodies and there are no rendering plants anywhere nearby.

You're probably thinking I'm not considering the value of "their modes de transporte' " but most are likely to come on buses, and they are hard to fence.. and I got enough stuff not to be interested their personal affects (and they probably stink like crappy perfume/cologne to boot).
