Today I did a 10 mile ride on a rail trail to test the ripped rotator and it went fine, with a few moments of rethinking how I load bikes on the CRV bike rack. But lawdy it was sweltering out there and we were home before noon. Be careful out there folks.
Yes it is sweltering today; the only exercise that I am doing is 12oz. curls! 😁

The inevitable payback for our week on the Cape, I had to get to weed whacking and cultivating gardens and mowing the "lawn" which is sporting the lovely fluorescent green of fresh crabgrass :) Got started at 10, finished at 5, needed a long shower to get all the dust and dirt off me. Temporarily lost 8 pounds of water/beer in the offing, I'm putting that back in right now :bigmug:

I don’t do yard work on Sundays, but after church, I am prepping for tomorrow’s work with multiple pints of Blonde Ale & Irish Dry Stout!

Heading your way.

Apparently last night until 8:30pm we were under a tornado warning (not watch) and my phone never bleeped, blorped, buzzed or burped at me.
Went through New Salem, pretty North of me.

The sky did look "weird" yellow/greenish glow.
[Edit: North of me in Montague]

PTN's thread seems to have devolved into a windging (brit/aus slang, not misspelling) version of the weather channel. & I recall we have had this discussion before.

I love dramatic weather, but most of these T storms miss my location. All I can say its;

Short and powerfully sweet here compared to yesterday. A lot of trees snapping and flying by the window. Radar looked worse yesterday but I think today I was just in the right spot. Had about 3" rain in 20 minutes.

Did the neighborly thing and checked out the window to see if it was just I without power or all of us. Yay! Everyone down!

And a constant complaint. Why cant storms take down the 99% rotten trees instead of the healthy ones?

There's a difference between your limey windging and just discussing what's all around us mainlanders.
Also, if I'm the only one brewing beer around here, what does that leave for the rest of you to talk about anyway?

Cheers!

I brew 10 gallons pretty much every other week, but figured everyone here was tired of hearing about it.

And in other news out here in the hinterlands, apparently I have a new flavor with which I must contend in my brewing....
