I don't understand how PK beers don't have mad hype. They have NO national following when they should be up there with the likes of weldwerks/casey/etc. Maybe it's a volume thing? Maybe you coloradans like the beer so much you don't want to share? haha.

Nah.

Phil just gotta lay low in the cut like a young OG waiting on the rise to the top.

hahah why shhhhh? These beers deserve more accolades! I am so so so glad I decided to join the membership this year. It was a PITA to get their beer before because no one knew about it haha.

Hope this is the right thread for this, but I am looking for some recommendations for Denver. I'll be there for a few days, June 30-July 3 before hitting the road to do some hiking/camping with a friend in Boulder.

What would be good neighborhood/part of town to get an Air BnB in Denver that's either walk-able or accessible to some breweries, decent bars and restaurants? Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything!

I really like the Highlands neighborhood for this type of thing. Pretty close to downtown but has a ton of good restaurants/bars/breweries. Hops and Pie, Call to Arms, Small Batch (beer store), plus a bunch more. Quick uber to LoDo and River North as well.

Excellent! Thanks for the advice. I was looking around here, but it's good to get confirmation that that's a good area!

I prefer RiNo as there are about 15 breweries in a 1 mile radius. Also close to a ton of great restaurants, walking to downtown and close to Coors Field. You'd have to get an Airbnb or something, but they're cheap.

Gonna say I second this over TheMitz suggestions. Better breweries too.

Stay in Greeley instead.

Hoping the little elevated platform in the northwest corner of the taproom is roped off for these special Palisade Reserve pours. I want to look down my nose at the unwashed masses of the front range whilst sipping my small batch fruited wild ales.
Not sure they should be in the same room as us. Kind of ruins my drinking experience

I dunno. I've always assumed "unwashed" referred to those with beer memberships.
