Mostly! I made it to Station 26 last night. Talked to the brewer (?) And he was talking about a white ipa collaboration they made with Cigar City for Huna Fest. I asked when they were tapping it since Huna Fest is tomorrow (today). His reply was oh **** that's tomorrow? It's still in the fermenter so I guess they won't have it.

If you get done early and still want to drink let me know. I live right around the corner from where you're staying.

I may head over to Station 26 again tonight but I'm hung over and it's the party people tonight so no clue how late we'll go. I need to check times places are open tomorrow but have from like 11-4 free and was going to hit up crooked stave or whatever is open.

I'm making a trip to Denver on the 31st, any recommendations while I'm there? Crooked Stave and falling rock are on my list so far. Looking for some places I can get a good bottle selection too and anything that might be on shelves that I should pick up while I'm there

I've been meaning to ask you that too. I can get them all day long here at home but wanted to pick a couple up while I'm up there, for logistical reasons of course

yes that site is travelocity and craigslist rolled into one.

I think they're definitely one of the better breweries that's opened recently in Denver and if you're brewery hopping in the River North area they're definitely worth a visit. Competent brewer too, Siebel grad I believe who brewed at AC Golden for a long while.

My favorites were the Dear You Saison and the Imperial Stout. Pale ale was weak sauce.

Their coffee scotch is pretty good. I didn't really think much of the saison. But with River North and Crooked Stave right there it's a tough world of saison in that neighborhood.

So far I've been disappointed with their canned offerings...but this one sounds promising. Hope it's not just a clone of J. Marie, as I'm not the biggest fan of that beer (but haven't tried the imperial version yet). Maybe I just tend to like their darker and heavier stuff more (Quandary, Avarice). Certainly going to give it a shot, as a canned farmhouse ale would be amazing to have around all summer.

I will answer my own question. It tapped today and is very good, not Superpower good but still very good. Side note, Comrade is now putting their beers in plastic kegs so you no longer pay a deposit and just throw the keg away when you are done. It adds $20 to the price of their kegs but hopefully it will make Superpower kegs more attainable.

Drank one. Its a little underwhelming. Very peppery, phenolic yeast with the good River North buttery mouth feel. I might still prefer a White Rascal.

Just booked a trip out to Colorado in August and will be in Ft. Collins, Boulder and Denver. What are some must stop bars/bottle shops/breweries other than falling rock, odell, new belgium, avery, crooked stave, oskar blues, and strange craft?

In Fort Collins? For bars I recommend The Mayor of Old Town (my watering hole of choice), Tap and Handle, and The Forge.
Supermarket Liquors has a great beer selection as does 287 Craft Spirits.
Funkwerks is a must hit brewery in Fort Collins as well as Horse and Dragon, they are about 3 blocks from one another and about a half-mile from Odell.

Let me know when you're in town. balesfc and I will definitely grab brews!

I recommend the other site to act as a travel guide, its all the mountain forum is over there. Well that and people asking for shippers.

If you want to know where you should really go the answer is the mountains. Go to the mountains, everywhere else is just a city not much different from other cities. Stop and have a beer or two at the places we talk about here then go to the mountains.
