Taxes. Those online prices don't include those.
You can pay upwards of 40-50% in tax. An oz medical averages about 200-220. Recreational it's 375+. An eighth marked 35-45 will be about $70 out the door depending on your areas and their city/county rates.
Just speaking as a 5-year med patient.

Not sure what he is talking about. Prices will be lower than east coast black market and quality will be very good.

If you make it to Boulder then backcountry pizza is a must stop for lunch.
Hops&Pie, a Cheeky Monk, and Falling Rock are my go to spots in denver. Try Comrade superpower ipa if you see it on a list- haven't had it yet but heard great things.

I know Tap N Handle just got a keg that they'll be putting on for the CSA tap takeover. And I wouldn't be surprised to see it on tap at Choice City either...

I haven't heard of that tap take over....details? I'm assuming it's crooked stave....

I used to be a frequent customer at choice city....then food portions got smaller, service was lacking, and they weren't bothering to update their beer menu. I'll have to go in again this week, as that buffalo Reuben is the tits.

I do like tap and handle, I can count on Jeff to get limited kegs or some .rar **** to drink, even if it's a little pricey at times. First place I tried cantillion on draft.

Any of you Denver fellas going to Trve to get Crimson Death? I'm looking for a gopuckitupformebro to grab me a bottle or two. Not real sure how Trve does bottle releases. Any info/insight would be helpful. I'd paypal, send label, and some beers.

The ones I've been to are no problem. Walk in grab a beer, ask for bottles. Not sure if there is any kind of bottle limit or not on this one. I would expect that this will be around for a little bit.

Yes to growler fills, don't know about kegs. I got a 32 oz. growler filled and think it was $16 and 64 oz. growler would be $32, from what I recall. So far they've said that anything they tap they'll fill growlers with. Yet another reason they're my favorite.
