Does anyone know of any stores in denver or boulder that still have the new tilquins in stock? Only one store in the springs got some in as far as I know and apparently I am not on the special list of individuals allowed to buy it

hey CO guys! give me the run down of must hit beer/weed spots in CO! we're coming out to do some boarding in mid Jan. staying near Winterpark.

Bottle shop wise I like Small Batch, Mile High and Highlands (Denver area) Liquor Mart in Boulder. Although most decent liquor stores have a good selection. Not too much up in Winter Park from what I remember. (I snowboard there regularly and always make sure to bring up beers up with me from Denver)

looks like you'll have to trade if you want BCBCS & Vanilla Rye this year...

Here’s a quote we received earlier this week from Goose Island Rep Andrew Osterman:
“Unfortunately, Coffee and Vanilla Rye will not be available in Colorado. While we have been working to increase capacity – we have focused that on the base Bourbon County Stout. Excitement has continued to grow for BCS in Chicago, as well as the rest of the country. We need to make sure that we are taking care of our home market.”

"Home market" and the rest of the country. I don't think GI is fond of how little CO purchases of their core brands.

Thankfully the reviews of Vanilla Rye from FOBAB were not terribly good. Eases the pain.

Heard that we'll have plenty of BCBS though, so hopefully fewer shops with bottle limits...

Don't get your weed in the mountains.
Weed spots? I'm particular as a med patient so it's a bit harder but.....

Livewell is a weed walmart, all sorts of quality at all sorts of prices.
The Health Center has a few locations that are quality.
I personally recommend Good Chemistry (a block from th capital)

Hey Colorado sloots.
I'm going to Vail for the weekend to visit my parents. Any bottle shops or stops I need to take on my way up?

Cooper Wine and Spirits in Glenwood Springs
Sopris Liquor and Wine in Carbondale

If you are willing to drive an extra 60-70 miles those stores should Casey bottles including Brett loves Citra and Fruit Stands. But you might want to call first as that post from Casey fb is about a week old.

Those are a bit outta my way ;)
I've gone to the releases and have scored Casey here in Fort Collins too. No big worry there.

Looks like I'll venture to Tipsy's.

In case anyone is curious about the Batch 60 release yesterday, here are some details which I'm mostly sure are true. Most was overheard from Chad, and some is assumed.

Apparently Crooked Stave received a C&D letter from Trinity regarding the name "Primitiv" for their new sour hoppy golden ale. I assume that Primitiv is the same recipe as Batch 60, which was a big hit for CS. They wanted to brew the same recipe again under a new name (because it's not going to be called batch 60 again if it's not their 60th batch). After receiving the C&D letter, they bottled 25 cases with Batch 60 labels for last night's release. I assume that's a direct corelation to the number of old Batch 60 labels they had left.

So the "Batch 60" bottles released last night are a new batch of Batch 60/Primitiv/whatever they're going to rename it. And the rest will be released at a future date under a new name.

That makes sense with their Facebook post that said "Pri-something is not quite ready, but when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade..."

**** Trinity, even more reason I'll go out of my way to not buy their stuff.

FYI I swung by over lunch to grab a few bottles, they still had some Batch 60 for sale, as well as pretty much everything else that's been released so far (I think, I wasn't checking that close, was just picking up some Motif and the Cassis but looked like it was all there). It was a beautiful sight to walk in and see so many different options for sale :D

Crooked Stave
Trve
Mile High
Small Batch

mostly to stock up on budz and burrz before we head to the mountain. anywhere to eat around those places that has a nice tap/bottle selection?

Hops and Pie is very close to small batch and they have great pizza and tap list. The taco place in the Source, near CS, is good too.
