Real question is after going through the line and you drink one in the lot (they sell them cold) will you get back in line? Done that on more then one occasion. And you know people here to send the beers back for you if need be. Ir to get a box from. Now to decide if I want to buy all 12...
This is the essential Avery release pro tip (other than Uncle Jacobs, you just buy as much of that allowed)Real question is after going through the line and you drink one in the lot (they sell them cold) will you get back in line? Done that on more then one occasion.
It's a half case because they are 12oz bottles. You can hop back in line. Avery has the release thing locked in. They open and have it set up for two lines (cash only and cash/CC). Right back in the same place is the special taps for the day. They have staff that will take your order and bring it to you in line. And you can bottle share while in line.Ha, trying not to spend all of my vacation money on a release.
So you can get your case and then hop back in line for more? Is it usually crazy there on release day?
What DenverBeerDrinker was saying is the veterans will just buy one or two bottles first time through the line, pop it open and sample, and decide how much more to buy.
Any clue what the beer is supposed to be? I might actually be down for this, and there is a small box on its way with some stuff to open with everyone.
Labors Of Hercules, when/where did you want to meet up to grab those brews from me?
I can do pretty much whenever sat/sun. How long will you guys be at Grimm brothers Saturday? I could meet up with you in denver before the Rockies game. Or I was thinking about going to the avery release Sunday if nothing else comes up. Are you still going to open some bottles? I should have a fresh growler of Susan coming in at the end of the week and maybe can bring a CB&B saison?
I'm not sure how long we will be at Grimm. That's blue_bleeder's specialty. Sunday is seeming like a possibility. I'll have some stuff to share.
I was there but didn't arrive until around 3:45. Drinking the 5 Monks now and it is really good.Who's going to Avery today and when will everybody be there? I'm planning on taking a bus and meet some friends out there after the release.
Yup. It's time. That and getting a bushel of roasted Hatch chilePeople from Colorado know this feel:

Missed the memo on Vail Big Beers tix going on sale. Was already pissed I missed last year. Is the "Commercial Tasting & Seminars" ticket for Friday and Saturday worth it alone? I intend to have an equal emphasis on snowboarding during the day before/days of/after this festival mind you.
Give Highlands or Small Batch a call.
Grapevine told me they've sold one bottle since they got them in. Yeah I think price has to do with itAt $40+ a pop, I'm guessing they'd sit for a long time anyway.
