The Boil on an Irish Stout wasn't all that vigorous

I used too much water in my brew pot, and didn't have a strong enough stove to be ale to bring it to a vigorous boil. I would characterize it as a weak ass boil. All the ingredients were in before I realized it wasn't going to be vigorous. I'm curious as too what effect this will have if any. It smelled amazing so I'm hopeful.
 
I did an Irish Stout for my first brew as well and had the same problem with not getting a "rolling" boil going. From what I've read, not boiling fast enough can lead to some off flavors however I bottled mine last week and it tasted great so hopefully yours will too.
