i have never heard of or seen those beers.,
canned ipas have really been giving me a problem lately. i cant find anything even remotely decent. they all have weak if any hop flavor or aroma.
so many drain pours.
two weeks ago i went to a small craft store that supposedly specialized in ipas and it was terribly disappointing.
one had that stale clay flavor that to me means stale or old hops and the other had no hop flavor at all. and this sickly haze to it. like the whole point of the beer was the haze not the hops
useless and 6 to 7 $ a pint.
this was another disappointing drain pour:
just tasted like malt liquor with a little bit of dank ( maybe)
couldnt finish it.
that lawsons is drinkable but still not really juicy or citrusy.
unfortunately even the tap beers are lacking.
cigar city ipa on tap was another poor showing. no hop aroma at all.
virgils ale at virgils bbq tasted like rolling rock.
i did have a cape may ipa on tap a few days ago that actually tasted like hops.
it still could have used another 2-3 ounces of dry hop tho.
