I am new to brewing beer and this is my first ever forum thread.
I have made my second batch which is an all grain brew. I have placed the brew into a primed keg and the beer tastes lovely but it hasnt generated any life in the barrel and is flat. The first brew I made, when in the the keg remained under pressure on its own until the last glass.
Any idears how I can bring this brew to life and to why it has done this? The gravity on my hydrometer is .008.

Did you seal the keg with about 30 psi of Co2. If not you might have to force carb it depending on how long it's been in the keg. 2 weeks in a leaking keg will eat up the priming sugar, and leave no pressure.

I know that my kegs will not seal tightly until I add some pressure. My ideers that either you did not get a good seal on the lid or that you have not waited long enough. 2-3 weeks at 70 degrees.

My ideer for bringing it back to life is to put it in your keezer and hook it up to the co2. Or wait.

Thanks for all the replys. It was a leaking top. I've replaced it. Re primed the brew with 2oz of sugar and blasted some co2 into the keg. Tested it with a draw off. All lively and tasted just as nice.
