This is current. I swear it’s a new pic and not just a rehashed one. This ******* album is so good for so many reasons.

tell me more about this compilation record - assuming jets to brazil? New or old jams?
it's old stuff... I tried to get the track listing in the picture... what you're looking at is the insert.

promise ring-is this thing on
pedro the lion-rapture
strike anywhere-infrared
denali-the instinct
kid dynamite-news at 11
joan of arc-post coitus rock (lol)
from ashes rise-reaction
****** up-david comes alive
swiz-cakewalk
lifetime-danyuerism
cap n jazz-little league
paint it black-exit wounds
jets to brazil-I typed for miles

tbh, I didn't know some of these bands were even on jade tree.. 15 years ago I didn't care about labels, haha. I love(d) pedro, denali, and kid dynamite is a Philly band so I saw them a bunch as openers before they 'hit it'. promise ring, lifetime, and jets were bands I was mildly into. and I've never heard of cap n jazz or swiz. ****** up played a show in Philly not that long ago but I'm old and don't get out to shows all that much. but I *am* going to a show tomorrow and am excite.

Jade Tree put out some of the best punk/hardcore records from the late nineties into the early 2000s. It runs the gamut from melodic Dag Nasty-influenced stuff (Strike Anywhere, Kid Dynamite, Swiz, who are ex-Dag Nasty), to dark and heavy Tragedy-type (From Ashes Rise), to ****** Up, who are more ambitious, and really bridge the gap between punk and indie-rock (they're now signed to Matador Records) to Paint It Black, which is just straight-foward hardcore punk that mostly lends itself to Minor Threat. And that's just bands that are actually on the comp above.

This is also all ignoring the more indie/emo records they put out, which are good in their own right, but not really my thing.

My band in High School to mid 20s played a show with Strike Anywhere and Bane. They offered to take us with them for the tour and we were like, We gotta go to school tomorrow. Still ******* regret it. Shoulda done the tour and repeated or summer school or whatever.

First time posting here..

Wife got me one of those cheap all in one record players for Christmas... took me a solid 2 weeks to upgrade.

Wife also brought me back the Inbound Crowler from Minn.

Am I doing this right?

Welcome. Great ******* record.

No wrong way to do it ( I hope), unless you stop posting/listening to your records. That's wrong.

Otherwise, needle + wax = correct.

(My personal beer and vinyl thread 2018 resolution is to drink better beer. So far, failing)
Cheers!
