Picked this up in Reno today. Always on the hunt for Lee Konitz, super underrated alto saxophonist imo.

I know of Berkeley, SF, and Hollywood. I always thought SF was the original location but Berkeley is the OG. Really dig the “what’s in your bag” series they do.

Pierre Pressure - I imagine this band is to Pittsburgh what Dropkick is to Boston. This album is pure garbage nostalgia ******** for me. Even before they got big, they would get ridiculed at all the local punk shows for their perfect hair and skinny ties with popped collars.

Anyway... the red white and blue splatter is so damn patriotic.

Beer is appropriately named Human Potential from Resident Culture.

I gotta give it another spin before I make up my mind. Was somewhat of a system shock the first time around. I realized that I took for granted the fact that I've always known what I'm getting with them...so that record had one of my eyebrows raised the whole time.
