One of the best albums ever.

For most of 2018 this (The Body - I Have Fought Against It, But I Can't Any Longer) was leading the way for my pick of album of the year. It has been surpassed by a couple albums but it still might be one of the most impactful for me. It is just so emotionally heavy and oppressive and Kristin Hayter is just such a good vocalist...at the end of the day I don't think this album quite holds up to what Tropical **** Storm and IDLES put out, but it's the one I most want people to listen to.

One of my biggest regrets is not having seen these guys before I left Boston. Though I guess they're kind of like Dropkick in that they sell out almost instantaneously in Boston and tickets can be had a lot easier in other states (but unlike Dropkick, these guys don't suck).

Not gonna lie, somewhat jaded when I realized that my wife claims to be the bigger ska fan but 100% of the Big D, Bim Skala Bim etc albums have been purchased by me and she has only bought two Interrupters albums. Plus side, I know what I'm getting her for her birthday.
