How are you liking this one so far? I kinda dig it so far, in a way that suggests it will grow tremendously on me...or that I just wont like it as much as their earlier albums.

For me, it's a little of both.

I definitely don't like it as much as previous albums and do think I ever will...but it's already growing on me. I kinda feel like it falls off a cliff midway through though.

A good buzz should help a lot. Ill keep plugging away.

Even when I'm not necessarily feeling an album or song, part of my brain is always like "**** yes, Uncle Acid, huge fan."

Pavement/Stephen Malkmus - As I Look At Life Lathe Cut Personal Comp

At the risk of annoying the **** of this group and several other message board communities, I have been entrusted by this company for my continued patronship and delight in their product.

Few things (to me at least) are as gratifying as playing a custom compiled lp of songs you have longed to see issued/reissued on vinyl and that is why they are here and offering this service.

I will be posting some of my collections that I have compiled and cut over the next few days/weeks in hopes of alerting anyone here who might be interested of their existence. MixtapeVinylonDemand offers the service of cutting music that you have purchased onto 12", 10" and 7" records. Likely if you are an audiophile you will have already stopped reading, but let me say that the sound on these discs is truly remarkable and a pleasure on every spin. For those concerned with the gray legality, I should mention that these are one off productions for just that reason and I should also mention I will definitely purchase proper releases when they are issued. If you are even remotely interested check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/MixtapeVinylonDemand and peruse the options. They even apparently print sleeves now! (I printed stickers at my local print shop). If you end up going through with something use the discount code MIXTAPEVINYL for 10% off through November 17. If you have any questions ask them and hopefully I haven't ruined your TB day

I wholeheartedly approve. And have thought about doing his soooo many times, but always end up too lazy.

I am definitively not an audiophile, just a vinyl junkie. This is essentially no different than getting assistance to make a mixtape.

Speaking of cover albums, Ty Segal’s drops tomorrow. I know you guys can’t wait for some Fudge Sandwich.

Highlights so far are the Spencer Davis and Funkadelic covers. Lots to look forward to in Side B still...Neil Young, Amon Duul, Rudimentary Peni and Sparks. What a selection of songs on this thing.

was not aware of this, looks awesome. this might be what finally gets me to take my turntable, receiver, etc out of their respective boxes and connect them via wires to speakers, if thats how it works.

Thank you. I bought / was gifted some components over time but never hooked anything up. Im not an audiophile, and often prefer things that sound bad...and consequently thought I had no business assembling a turntable setup.

This is all the validation I need.

Yeah dude, my setup is janky as hell. I'd love to upgrade, and sound quality isn't completely trivial to me...but it just isn't as high of a priority as being able to buy all the music I want. **** sounds just fine to me.

it's like Mark Maron talking about buying the same amp that Jack White has... 'it sounds good.... but $14,000 good?'

Hip Hop Friday, right BrandoSF ?

Finally got a decent price on this. Reissue, but whatever. And the Scotch BA Westbrook thing is hitting the spot on a chilly fall eve (that's like 53 here).

Dare I also tag MordorMongo on this needle drop for some J5 love?
That’s a killer ******* album. Jelly
