Good God, y'all.

So I've got this dilemma. On the one hand I picked up several records this past weekend that I want to listen to. On the other hand, I almost tried to put the record on while the platter was spinning which, while a fun sounding challenge, probably doesn't end particularly well. Anyway, this is probably my only one for the night. Heard these guys are kind of ok.

Teen Love and galaxy hops, both feel good hits of the summer.

Same beer. While it doesn't have that perfect Orange County hardcore punk speed, this is still a killer EP.

Beer tastes like a funky white wine. Another great release from the classic discos Redrum. The sleeve starts off with "Gather round you sorry *****. Without us, we pity the **** you must hear. No longer. We are back and a fine lineup too, we thinks. Bombs away."

What is this? When was this? I need this?

Finishing up that HF bottle and moving onto the last half of the TG. I never make it very far on this album...

I bought this years ago based on a description that said something about three AM dance parties in your bedroom or something like that. I guess that's where I was at at that point in life. Either way this and the Painted Nails 7" is the best stuff they ever released.

Considering your posts are what got me to check these guys out, I assume you know the answer to at least your first and third question. Looks like their first two albums were released on vinyl a few years back. This is the only one from them that I saw, but both Cruel Noise and Juke still have copies. Great album too, by the way, glad I listened to the recommendations on this one.

Yesterday was a long day a long day at work, today was surprisingly short. So instead of doing this all tomorrow I'll just start tonight and see how far I can get if I start with a couple stouts. Fun times. Also, pleasantly surprised to find this record in a shop in Pittsburgh; I only ever saw one album of theirs in stores when I lived in Boston.

Putting this on purely to buy time to finish the beer. And maybe make supper. And maybe shower. Because if I put on a ~20 min album and slam this beer I'm probably done. Though really, there's a definite drop off after the first four or so tracks on this, so...who knows.

Going to see them play Sung Tongs here in a couple hours. Pretty stoked.

Not gonna lie, kind of jealous. Sung Tongs is when I discovered them. This album is when I really got hooked. For Reverend Green just sold me.

PS - I thought only my grandparents used the word supper.
Supper and dinner are different things. I forget why right now. But to put it in your terms, I'm about to shove some pasta into my facehole for my evening food times.

Good, was def trying to make you jealous. But your AC journey seems to be the same as mine up to and including the opinion of the tremendous drop off after the first half of strawberry jam. Lost track of them entirely after MPP. But always paid close attention to Panda Bear’s stuff, which, if forced to choose, I would prefer overall to AC’s catalog.

Right then, this is why I drink a bunch and post here. Last time this topic came up I said I would compromise and call the meal sinner. I'm a big believer in both Rasputin's theory that you can't ask for forgiveness for your sins if you haven't sinned and that if I don't sin then Jesus died for nothing. I still don't see how I was being "inappropriate". Honestly though....maybe its a regional thing? Most people I know back home use supper and the only time I would see dinner is dinner specials on menus. Whatever, idgaf....supper....soda....water bubbler...**** y'all. Also, same beer...apparently boiling water is complicated enough to slow my drinking.

Wait...soda or pop?

EDIT: And never thought I’d see a Jesus reference in this thread. That was a weird turn.

Now you're just trolling me. Everyone knows only unsophisticated country-folk use the term pop....******' rubes. Also...Jesus, Moses, Muhammad...I'll namedrop Yahweh in here if you want. As for the album, I don't get the car fixation, but the music is solid, so I'll let it pass.
