Planning my Thanksgiving brews, only about 8 weeks away. I want two batches of brew, 2 choices for family and friends on Thanksgiving weekend. Any ideas on what to brew? I'm noob on brewing so I need to keep it simple.

My ideas, Thanksgiving meal is heavy, peolple are bloated, a nice light after dinner ale to finish off the turkey dinner. not sure what to brew as second brew. i'm not a big cranberry or pumpkin fan, but open to suggestions.

Already have the names, Pilgrims Ale, and Chief Firewater Brew..thanksgiving theme.

Anyone know any old time throwback style ales that match the Pilgrams Ale name? Open to all ideas. Thinking one lighter colored ale, and one darker, or even red for the indian one. Thanks in advance.

not a big pumpkin fan. looking for a tasty ale to compliment a heavy turkey dinner.

make the same ol' same ol i guess and call it Pilgrams Ale.

or Chris Columbus Voyager, or 3 brews, the Nina the Pina and the Santa Maria.

or Captain John Smiths Choice Lager, or mabbe Pocohantas' Firewater.

I'm doing a cranberry ale for Thanksgiving. Something with a bit of acidity, to cut a heavy Thanksgiving dinner, with 1 quart of cranberry juice and 2 packs of cranberries added to the secondary.

I did a pumpkin ale last year but it just didn't do it for me.

cranberry ale - spiced ale (try allspice or even masala) - pumpkin ales but again don't use pumpkin - use allaspice
