Revvy, you told me to leave my beer in primary 3-4 weeks. Well last night was 3 weeks 1 day in primary for my EPA. I siphoned the brew in to my priming bucket being super careful not to disturb the massive pile of gunk in the bottom of the primary. I took a reading it was 1.012 which is on the lower end of the estimated FG (said it should be 1.015-1.012). Anyway the beer was super clear! I've never seen a homebrew so clear and clean looking. So i took a sample taste....It tasted amazing, way better and cleaner tasting than any beer I've brewed so far. Thanks for all the good advice! I was seriously in awe of the clarity of this beer and in awe of the beautiful taste. Can't wait to try one in 3 weeks! I'm definitely going to be leaving them in primary 3-4 weeks from now on. I mean this came out cleaner than beers that I've had in secondaries.
