System works fine but I just want to make sure the GFI is working after a few years of use. If I hit the Estop on the panel it trips but how do I know the GFI is whats tripping it?

Do you have a "test" button on it? The "test" button will AFAIK send some amperes over the ground-wire, which should trip the breaker.

I'm confused by your question. Is your estop wired up like pj diagrams? If so, that is designed to simulate a ground fault and trip the GFI. Does your GFI breaker itself not have a test button?

I does. Its been like 4 years since I opened it and I didn't think about a test button...should have checked before posting. All Good thanks

But. This only confirms that you circuit breaker works, not that your system how it's wired works as intended regarding the circuit breaker.
