Hey guys!

So I bought a few milled grained kits and have been using them over the past few weeks. Its coming on two months now that one of my milled grain kits has been sitting in a sealed container in my room. The grains are out of direct sunlight and the room is AC'ed so it never really gets over 77.
I am just wondering how I can check to see if my grains have gone stale or not. I know I should have probably put them in a freezer, but I didnt have any room. They still smell great and I plan to use them in the next two weeks. Do I just taste the grains? What should I look for in the taste?
Noob move, but I am still new to all grain and keeping ingredients properly stored.

Thanks

I have a feeling they will be fine, I was only really concerned because they where premilled.
