Good Evening.
I am bringing a 3 gallon keg of barley wine to a special event. It will be in a 10-gallon cylinder cooler. I will have the keg in the middle on the bottom surrounded with ice. It will stay this way for 8 days and I'll be using free ice from the hotel to keep it going. I understand this will probably keep it way below the correct serving temperature for a barley wine. I am wondering if anyone knows the serving temperature of a keg that's surrounded by ice. I don't mind it starting cold and warming up to taste the whole spectrum, but I am curious what the starting point will be?
