Am I just being paranoid?? Brewed a partial mash spotted clone last night and pitched the yeast when the wort was 64 degrees. This is the first time I have used liquid yeast (WYEAST KOLSCH 2565) and I did not make a starter as the smack pack swelled nicely and my OG was only 1.044. I put the carboy in an ice bath and now it sits at 62 degrees but I have no activity after 15 hours. Im used to dry yeast starting in about 8 hours. I know I should be patient but I just wondered if its too cold for the yeast to take off or should I maintain that temp. Thanks for any advice.
