I recently made a pale ale which turned out really well. Or least the first few bottles I tasted did. However, as I've worked my way through the case I made, I've come across a couple bottles that are virtually tasteless. They have no body and no malt flavor, just a little hop bitterness and some sharp carbonation.
Are these particular bottles infected? Oxidized? There's no "off" flavor to speak of, just a notable absence of any flavor whatsoever.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping to bottle a new batch tonight and want to head off any problems my process may be causing.
