I just cracked open a bottle of Bruxelle Blonde kit, followed all directions. There was lots of fizz when I drank from it. Granted I only let it sit in the fridge for about five hours or so. Did I mess up my beer or must the beer sit in the fridge for a full 24 hours?

I was antsy and wanted a taste!

The beer is extra Fizzy and quite bitter for a blonde

The fizz will go down the longer that it sits in the refrigerator. Some you do not have to let sit for a full 24 hours. I always put a 1L bottle in the fridge as I pull one out. I keep 6 in the fridge all of the time. That way there is no thoughts about how long it sat before drinking.

How did you carbonate? How long has it been in the bottle?

That would still be a bit warm... a couple days is best, the flavor does change with some cold conditioning i think, but you can stuff one in the freezer for 30 to an hour depending on how cold you have it set and chill that way. Just dont freeze it.

That's if you can't wait. But i couldn't either.
