I just got my new taprite tower. It came with a huge sticker saying there is potentially lead in the product etc.

Anything I should be concerned about?

Thanks

correct, even lead free brass and solder has a small amount of lead still in it... california has its own version of red lead free brass fittings found at local califonria home depots and such, or at least they used to...You will find the California cancer sticker on many things these days, its similiar to the warning found on beer and cigarretes from the surgeon general. same with any powertool with brushes or pretty much anything these days...
When drinking and smoking is outlawed again for being bad for your health you can bet it will be California thats first to do it...Once they figure out another method to collect the tax revenue.

At the end of the day your still far more likely to do more damage to your health from the alcohol in the beer than the lead in the brass or solder...

Is it the Stainless steel model with a chrome faust? If so, they use lead anodes in the chrome plating process. Nothing to worry about. I got the stupid Prop 65 paperwork with the stainless steel siphon I ordered last week. Makes no sense it's not like I plan on eating the tiny plastic trub cap.
