I purchased the tap a draft system, and decided to use it for an all grain ESB that I brewed with ringwood yeast. While racking out of secondary, the beer was awesome. After carbonating for 3 weeks I tapped it. BOO! All I can taste is sediment. And no wonder with the beer line resting on the bottom of the bottle. Did I just waste fifty bucks, or can this be elieviated?

It should clear after a pint or two. Of course, if you shake or move the bottle around, it can stir up more sediment. That has always been one of the minor downsides to the system, but the same thing can technically happen with a keg, not that I'm normally moving those around.

Thanks for the advice. I actually just propped the tap end of the bottle up with a jar of salsa on it's side so all of the sediment stayed on the bottom end of the bottle...Arriba!
