greetings all!

i've been lurking this forum for the past few weeks, as a way of furthering my edu-beer-cation.....so much great advice to learn from, thanks everyone!

the better half and i are seriously considering setting up shop, so to speak, and we're aiming to start at the beginning of the year....so plenty of time to assemble equipment, and to learn, learn learn........my passion is for stouts, and she (being a good kansas girl) adores her wheats. though, to be far, we are notoriously non-discriminating with regards to good beer ;-)

anyway, its back to reading and lurking for me now. thanks to everyone for the excellent knowledge base. any kansas city folks on here feel free to give me a holler!

Those are certainly good choices for a beginner. Wheats are simple and stouts are very forgiving.
