I'm building a sculpture and I want to use Blichmann burners. I'm not interested in the Top Tier system (I want a single tier) but I really like how the Blichmann burners mount to the T-Slotted Aluminum Extrusions (I'll call it "TSAE" from now on).
I'd like to buy my own TSAE so I can customize the size to fit my plan. I went to the LHBS to take a look at the TSAE employed by the Top Tier system. It looks like it's 90mm x 90mm (although it actually measured more like 87mm).
My question: Will the Blichmann modular burners mount to any 90mm x 90mm TSAE? (here's an example) Will any TSAE be able to bare the weight of the burner/pot/liquid (250 LBS at the very most) or should I be looking for heavy duty varieties?
