Switching to Bev-seal ultra

I just picked up some new beverage line from birdman brewing. I plan to switch everything over tomorrow night.

For those of you who have experience with Bev-seal ultra what kind of line length do you use? My system typically is about 10 psi and there is approximately 18" from top of corny to faucet.

I read somewhere the flow restriction was much less than that of typical tubing. Just trying to figure out how to compensate. I never liked fluid dynamics...

There's a thread somewhere here where people posted their lengths and they range from 6' to 20', but most folks seem to run between 10'-14'. I'm doing about 12' and it works great, similar setup as yours.

Yeah, the numbers seem to be all over the place for the bev seal. I use 20' per line and have been fine up to ~15 PSI, haven't tried higher. Because the stuff is such a PITA to get over the barbs, I went with very conservative (long) lines. Because I didn't want to risk having to do it again.

boiling water is your friend. put the ends in hot water for 15 seconds prior to pushing them over the barb.
