I made a simple wheat recipe that was a half batch. let it ferment three weeks. constant SG for at least three days. bottled yesterday.

Bottled half - Very sweet taste to it.

Added an unsweetened lemonade packet that you would add to a 20oz bottle. mixed it in for a shandy taste.

the sweetness worries me a little. should a wheat be sweet? or did i not let it ferment long enough?

list the entire recipe. wheats aren't hoppy beers usually but if this was really under hopped it'll be even sweeter.

this is a half batch

3.15 wheat LME
1/2 oz. Hallertau 3.7%
Danstar Munich Yeast

1/4 60min
1/4 15min
ir. moss. 10min

OG 1.040
FG 1.010 (2x - 2 days apart)

Carbonation will change your perception of the beer. Nothing else you can do at this point other than try a sample in a week or two.

i am more of a hop-head than SWMBO and i usually add more but she asked that i make a lighter type for her.
