I live a couple towns over and theres a 20inch drift against my door...after 10 hours of snow and we have another...12-14 hours left?!? WTF!?

Hope he gets that baby inside before it freezes!

Hey TheMan, would you consider extending the deadline to next week? Temps near me will be below freezing for the next 4-5 days and last thing i would want is my package sitting on a truck over the weekend and cracking/freezing.

Also for the fact of packages coming IN to the north/east not freezing.

The snow is ridiculous here. What's worse is the response of the towns. No trucks out at all here until about an hour ago. Inexcusable.

At least where I went to school upstate they were prepared for the 250+ inches we got every winter. An inch or two around here and people start driving like the world is ending. Maybe put away the corvette ********s.

Hate to be that guy but im sure i talk for most of us easterners (nickfern, psycotte, initybrew, dotjerdot, coldcrash, bigmike99). If you are our partners i for one wont be upset with a spoiled surprise notice when my box is here, well have freezing temps for the next 6 days and would like to drink the wonderful beer you are sending!!

Maybe theman could give a heads up to guys if he has tracking when packages will be delivered. Wouldn't ruin the surprise really but it would be extra work. As long as we don't have a beertastrophe I'm cool.

I'm concerned. I saw a fedex guy in the neighborhood yesterday but he didn't come to me. There is no notice or anything on my porch and def no box..

What if as to not create more work for the man you messages someone else on the board to post on here when your box is out for delivery so the surprise isn't ruined but the recipient still has a heads up? I think we are all watching our tracking pretty closely...

FedEx has definitely delivered to wrong house. I saw a truck in the neighborhood yesterday but the door I knocked where I SAW him deliver was an old dude with a bonifide package he showed me signed for. That box is somewhere in this neighborhood. Splattsmeier, we need to call fedex and see where. I can do it if you want to send me the tracking number. Ugh... I hope they weren't out all night becoming frozen.....

I agree that a heads up could be important this round, we've got below zero temps for at least the next couple days around here. If I know something's coming I can try to make arrangements.

Guys, if anyone hasn't already, if you sign up for fedex delivery manager, when a package is sent to your address, you can check tracking and change delivery to be dropped off at a fedex location. Whenever I order from cascade, they require a signature, so I have it dropped off at the office. Don't know if ups has a similar service. Plus, if you sign up for a fedex account, you can save money on shipping.

UPS does have the same service - although they will only hold it at the regional hub unless you want to pay $5 to have it delivered to a near by location. I'm signed up for both...yeah it kills a bit of the surprise but its worth it to not have a package get left out to freeze/get appropriated.

I have the FedEx heads up but nothing for UPS. I can be home anytime if I know something's coming. Even if the surprise of where the box is coming from is ruined we still wouldn't know what's inside. The first round I got beers from all over Cali and the PNW

So FEDEX did make an incorrect delivery and Splattsmeir and I have both contacted them. Should hear by the end of today when it is supposed to re-arrive. I'm just praying the person who actually received it kept it warm for the night and this is a recoverable incident. LOL
