Swamp ape

I want to try to brew something close to Swamp Ape from Florida Brewing Co. I have not brewed a 10% beer before...will it be complicated or can a guy with only 4 batches under his belt make this happen?

Make sure you aerate well and get your pitching rate correct.

If you don't have an aeration strategy, I just pour my batch back and forth between two sanitized fermenting buckets, then cap the one with the beer! It works wonders.

Don't forget to update how it turned out.

Do you like swamp ape? I think it is a little to alcohol hot in the finish.

Pitching rate, mash temp and aeration. Make sure you mash low enough that you get a fully fermentable wort.
