I'm going to try a supplication clone. Below is the recipe I've cobbled together using various resources and blogs. I know that people typically use Roeselare and abbey ale yeast. I am the proud new owner of some ECY01. Does anyone have any direct experience using ECY01 with this clone? If I use it should I pitch another yeast 1st or go with the bugfarm all of the way?

Supplication Clone
Flanders Brown Ale/Oud Bruin
All Grain (6.00 gal) ABV: 6.72 %
OG: 1.069 SG FG: 1.018 SG (guessing the bugfarm will take it lower)
IBUs: 22.0 IBUs Color: 19.1 SRM
By:
Ingredients

13 lb - Pale Malt (2 Row) US
1 lb 8.0 oz - Vienna Malt
1 lb - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L
5.3 oz - Carafa III

1.33 oz - Styrian Goldings

Boil 90 min (22.0 IBUs)

2.5lbs if dried tart cherries in secondary.

Looks great to me. Go Bugfarm all the way, everything you need is in that blend. It may not be a dead on clone but it will be in the same vein as Supplication.

I did a Consecration clone using Bugfarm and it turned out wonderfully. It will should definitely go lower than 1.018, hard to say sometimes with fruit how long it will really go. Cheers!

I think it's infected!

I added the cherries about a week ago and snuck a little sample today. It is already pretty sour. Honestly I would have no problem drinking it right now...but I guess I'll sit on it another year, lol.
