Sun Burn, Nutrient Deficiency or Powdery Mildew?

My young plants have started showing the following symptoms:

I don't think this is powdery mildew but I could be wrong. I have compared these pictures to pictures of powdery mildew infested hop plants and they look different.

I think that what I have going on is either sun damage because the plants are relatively young and it gets really hot here OR I have a nutrient deficiency. Plants are kept well irrigated. These hop plants are of the chinook variety.

Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms on their hop plants?
 
To my eye:
1st pic looks like sun scorch.
2nd pic looks like thrips. Looks for almost microscopic white/translucent bugs on the underside of the leaves.
3rd and 4th pics look like... wait for it... powdery mildew. Time for a fungicide.
