SUmmit SBC500 Question...

Found a Summit SBC-500JSS near me for a really good price.

Anyone have one of these? They look to be exactly like a SBC-500B...but I cant find much useful info.

How many corneys can this beast hold?

Im assuming the tower is easily interchangeable for a new one...

I just got rid of a Summit SBC-500B, which I think is the same model, but without the SS door. If it has the top mounted compressor (hump across top inside), then it may only fit two cornies without mods. I cut the handle off one side of a corny and was able to fit three of them into this model by having the cut corny as the first one in.

If it is a newer model that is like the Haier's and some others I've seen that have a bottom mount compressor with the angled indent of the inside lining, then you can put 3 cornies in there without mods.

As far as working, I had no problems at all with it. Nice and cold and it kept consistent temps.
