I brewed Lemonparty (Citrus Blonde) and Razzy Wheat from these forums and loved them both...thought I'd try a combination of the two, minus the raspberries. Have never created my own recipe though, so hoping for some feedback on the following:
5 lbs Pilsner malt
4 lbs White Wheat malt
1.25 lbs flaked Rye
Single infusion mash at 150 for 60 minutes
Boil 90 minutes
0.5 oz Amarillo (60 min boil)
0.5 oz Amarillo (5 min boil)
0.5 oz Sorachi Ace (5 min boil)
0.5 oz Amarillo (flame out)
0.5 oz Sorachi Ace (flame out)
1 oz dried lemon peel (5 min boil)
0.5 oz dried bitter orange lemon peel (5 min boil)
0.25 oz crushed coriander (5 min boil)
zest of 1 orange (5 min boil)
zest of 1 lemon (5 min boil)
Not sure whether to go with a Bavarian yeast or Wyeast 1056 American Ale.
I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
