I want to brew an IPA in the 6% abv range tomorrow. I have Warrior,Magnum,Citra, chinook, amarillo, simcoe and cascade on hand. What would your hop additions look like?

Bitter with warrior. It's nice and clean. Maybe .75 ounce for 60 mins. Then..... This is where you have to trust..... 3 ounce each of simcoe and Amarillo at flame out for 30 mins. Stir every five mins. Drop the temp to 175* and add 3 ounces each simcoe and Amarillo again. Step for another 30 mins while you stir every 5. Drop to fermentation temp pitch yeast..... Let it do its thing. Then dry hop with 5 ounces.... You said a 5 gallon batch, right? I would do Citra and cascades. You will have a beautifully bright IPA. Let us know what you decide to do.

Ps. I guess we need the quantities of the hops you have on hand in order to appropriately guide you.

Holy crap!!! That is a massive amount of hops. I really like it though. I like the idea of a hop stand. I only have a couple of ounces of each, with the exception being Cascade,of which I have 8 ounces.

Warrior for bittering, maybe even used as FWH. Equal parts Chinook and Simcoe at 15 mins. Equal parts Citra and Amarillo 0 mins and let sit for 30 mins, don't start chilling wort right away after this addition. Citra and Amarillo dry hop. You'll have a citrusy, piney IPA and Citra and Amarillo will add a great aroma.

Assuming 5.5 gallon batch size maybe
.75 oz Warrior FWH or 90 min
.75 oz Chinook 15 min
.75 oz Simcoe 15 min
1 oz Citra 0 min
1 oz Amarillo 0 min
1 oz Citra Dry Hop
1 oz Amarillo Dry Hop
(Would recommend more oz in 0 min and dry hop if you have some around, but I'm assuming you only have 2 oz of each as you stated earlier.)

I would try to get OG around 1.055 or so, mash really low around 148* so beer will finish nice and dry and hops will shine through, FG around 1.008. Use some gypsum as well if you do any salt additions and have a basic knowledge of water chemistry.

I kinda figured he had the hops on hand. Every now and again you have to see how hoppy hoppy can be.... It's worth the investment
