Hello!

I'm making a gluten-free pumpkin spice ale from a recipe I found on here. The recipe calls for 6 lbs. of Sorghum Syrup. No problem, I picked that up. However, it also calls for 1 lb. 3 oz of Sorghum, roasted. Is there something I can use as a substitute for the sorghum grain? I can't find it anywhere in town here and due to schedule constraints I have to brew it this weekend. I'd also prefer to keep it gluten-free.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks much!

Aaron

I have a buddy who recently became gluten intolerant, so im thinking about making a gluten free batch. I found a product called ClaraFerm (IIRC) that is what Widmer uses in their Omission series. Supposedly, it breaks down proteins for
clarity, one of which is gluten. Can use a normal grain bill with it.
