If I buy one of the nylon straining bags from the wine store to aid in pressing wine, can I re-use it? I have always used panty hose and want to give a bag a try. Thanks!

Sure, you can reuse them! They are actually really durable.
I turn them inside out and rinse most of the gunk out, and then run them through either the dishwasher (top shelf) or washing machine with the dish towels.

Thanks! I figured that $6 for a straining bag was pretty steep for straining $4 of wine.

I get mine at the Home Depot type stores in the paint section and I get 3 for about $6. I like the 5-gallon size with the elastic top and I too just wash them in the washing machine.
