Everything with my pour is fine the issue I'm having is once done I get that small amount of beer that passes the diffuser plate but is now stuck. If I don't pour for a couple days it thickens up and I must clean it before pouring another. Is there a good technique to get aways from cleaning every time or am I doing something wrong. This is a "thing" with stout faucets. What I do to minimize the aftermath is to use the rim of my glass to wick as much of the caught beer out of the faucet nozzle as I can in the space of about 10 seconds. I kinda wipe the rim back and forth under the nozzle opening a few times.

What's left behind hasn't been a problem - but I do unscrew and flush out the nozzle assembly every few days...

Cheers!

I thought about using one of those jddevinn, the only issue is once I stick it in the rest of the beer is going to flow out and into my drip tray. What it needs is a little push valve on the faucet to let air in from just above the diffusion plate, that should let the remaining beer come out.

What day trippr said. It's just surface tension holding a small amount of beer in the nozzle. Most stouts typically finish with a higher FG unless of course it's a dry stout, so the surface tension would typically be higher.

Lightly touching your glass to the tip of the nozzle usually gets most of it out.

You could just touch it with a piece of rolled up paper towel and most will come out. Annoying, but I think it's just a minor thing to deal with.
