So I know a lot of people lager in kegs, but I couldn't find a specific answer to my question in any of the other threads.
If I blast the keg with 30 PSI to purge the headspace of oxygen and seal the lid, can I leave the beer to lager/store for several months after that, unhooked from the regulator? Or will the CO2 eventually get fully absorbed into the beer, resulting in no CO2 in the headspace and the lid coming unsealed? That's my concern, that the lid will come unsealed when the pressure in the headspace drops and let oxygen into my beer.
Is this a real concern? I'm new to kegging so I don't fully understand the process but I've been trying to research a lot to better understand.
Thanks in advance.
