Hello everyone, sooooooo quick funny story on how I became interested in brewing. I'm an inspector for a local town here in CT and I had to inspect a new Brewery that will be opening soon and I started to ask questions about the brewing process. After a bunch of newb questions, which they answered all of them because I'm sure because they wanted to be nice to the inspector, so they suggested I do some research and give it a shot. Well, after hours and hours and more hours of watching Youtube and reading, I am here now. I have not brewed anything yet since my current living situation isn't conducive at the moment.

I'm looking forward to a being a contributing member of the community as I learn more and pay it forward.

Welcome to the hobby, and HBT, from Minnesota! You don't need a lot of gear to make decent beer. And if you want to make something really simple, try EdWort's Apfelwein. Store-bought apple juice, some sugar and a packet of wine yeast.
