Hello all!

I'm looking to use the STC-1000 for a project where I will need a DC output of 5-12V, 0.5A in addition to the usual AC. I could add a transformer to my project, but the STC-1000 already has one. Can anybody guide me to the pins I need to tap into its DC?

The 78M05 chip is a voltage regulator that puts out 5V 0.5A. When I put my multimeter between the output and ground contacts, it does say 5V, but when I attach the load, the STC resets. Here is the datasheet for the 78M05:

I have a single stage controller where I can attach the load and it seems to work fine. Can anybody help me to utilize the transformer on the STC?
