Hi there,
I'm looking to get brewing at the end of the month and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for kits to start out? I'd be looking for something that would contain everything that was needed and would last a good few brews. I've had a look about but advice is always nice. Money isn't too much of an issue although UK sites/outlets would be preferable.
Many thanks

Welcome to the Forum, and to your next obsession.
rtstiler's suggestions are great, but if you're looking for shipment to the UK, costs might be prohibitive. So, use those sites to make a list, then if you have a LHBS, visit them with your list in hand. Also, it would be a good idea to get a book or two- John Palmer's 'How to Brew' is a great start. And spend WAY too much time on this and other forums.
Good Luck, and Have fun! :mug:

Thank you, I'll defo check those out. I can't wait to get started. Got too many ideas. Payday can't get here quick enough

Yes the mentioned sites have good kits. I might suggest starting with Dry yeast, its cheaper, easier to deal with, dont need to worry about shipping temps, and you usually get more cells than the other liquid yeasts.

I bought all my stuff through midwest. the last 2 beer kits I bought through Jasper's (boomchugalug.com) If you order everything at once, midwest isn't too bad on shipping. Jasper's is better for shipping beer kits ($7.99 flat rate per kit to APO). If you aren't able to do military shipping, I don't know how much shipping would be.
