Starter question

I picked up some DME to make starters with, I wasn't paying attention and bought wheat DME. This is my first attempt at using starters. Will this make any difference ? Change taste or give it some cloudy issues?

For making starters? Won't make a difference. Just decant the liquid before you pitch, and there won't be much transfer... or don't decant, still won't make much of a difference.

For 1000 ml starter or smaller, just shake it up good and pitch. You won't have any issues.

If you pitch the entire starter, the worst that can happen is it may improve the head retention. No worries at all. Decant or pitch the whole thing. Either way is fine.
