Hi,

I'm rinsing my 3711 yeast today and I want to use it this Saturday for another batch of beer. I should be able to harvest enough yeast for this weekend. (150ML according to Mrmalty) Do I still need to make a starter? Or just keep the yeast in the fridge and pitch it on Saturday?

Thanks!

I would still make a starter. It gets your yeast happy and active again.

Don't sweat the starter. Harvest a few ml more than you calculate is necessary, give it a swirl, and pitch the slurry. Two days is not enough to worry about.

Cheers,

Bob
