Hey everyone...quick question here. I use StarSan to sanitize my 5 gallon keg before dropping in a batch to carbonate and drink. Usually my process is clean and rinse keg of all residue and remnants of previous batch, drop in about 1/2-3/4 of a gallon of StarSan, swish it all around, put lid back on, prime with about 10psi of co2 and allow it to drain out the tap side. Usually the foam is kept to a minimum and a lot I manage to get out before dropping the next batch in but last batch there was a good amount of foam and the head formation and retention was not all that great. Now I'm sure it was more on the brewing/ingredients end of things but has anyone ever known StarSan foam to be a head killer? Thanks.
