Star San Sanitizer

Could someone confirm what I thought I once read--- a solution of Star San in a bucket, if covered, can last a couple of weeks.

I used my solution over the course of 3 weeks. I mix it on brew day and use it to sanitize my primary. It sits in the bucket until I use it a week later to sanitize my secondary. Sits in the bucket for another week to two weeks until I sanitize my keg. I haven't any problems thus far and have been using the stuff for 2 years.
